Servicing
Regular servicing on any bike is vital to keep it running smoothly and efficiently. A poorly-kept bike will end up costing you more to repair, so it makes sense to keep your bike in good shape from day one.
Here at Calleva Cycles we offer 3 service options which should cater for all our customers. See below to book a Road or Mountain Bike service.
Option 1 :- Standard service £40 (most common total bike 120 point safety 'M' check)
Option 2 :- Advanced service £80 (standard + remove and clean all bearings)
Option 3 :- Ultra service £120 (complete bike strip down to bare frame and rebuilt)
The above prices do not include parts.
Some examples of works we can do from puncture repairs to……
- Hub service, strip/clean/grease/adjust/replace bearings
- Wheel truing (subject to wheel condition)
- Chain & cassette/screw on block installation
- Chainset fit or replacement
- Free wheel/cassette/chain replacement
- Fork installation rigid or suspension
- Front & rear suspension service & repair
- Headset service strip out, clean, grease & adjust/replace bearings
- Check and adjust gears, brakes, tyres & steering aligned, lubricate drive train & all external moving components, ensure all nuts & bolts are correctly fastened
- Brakes service, replace inner cables and outer, pivot points lubricated and pads renewed
- Hydraulic disc brake service, fluid replaced, full hydraulic system bleed, pads inspected renewed as required, master and slave callipers service, mineral and DOT systems
- Gear service, replace inner cables, reset indexing, lubricate all pivot points, strip and renew inner cables & outer housing. Front & rear derailleur installation
- Bottom bracket installation
